Fireworks at Navy Pier
People of all ages are welcome to sit outside at the Navy Pier to watch Chicago ringing in the New Year with a big fireworks display. Admission is free and is granted on a first come, first serve basis. Gates to the Navy Pier will close once it reaches maximum capacity, so be sure to come early if you plan on catching the fireworks up close.

VIP packages are available for purchase and packages range from table reservations to bottle service. Hotel packages are also available for out of town guests.

The Congress Hotel is one of Chicago’s most historic landmarks and their annual New Year’s Eve party makes sure everyone is aware of that fact. Multiple party rooms and dance floors are spread out throughout the venue, playing a wide range of music. This is an all-inclusive party with an open bar, buffet, and appetizer tables. VIP tickets include an upgrade to top-shelf liquors and bottle service, reserved exclusive seating, and a VIP hostess.
Zoo Years Eve
If you’re interested in a unique way to ring in the New Year then the Lincoln Park Zoo has you covered. Animal exhibits will be light up by an extravagant array of lights throughout the entire zoo grounds. There will be ice sculptures, live DJ’s, games, free gift giveaways, and special animal “enrichment.” Tickets are moderately priced from $10-15, but ticket price does not include food or alcohol. Cash bars will be available throughout the venue for those wishing to indulge.
Brew Years Eve
Choose from twenty-five different beers brewed by ten local breweries in this beer forward New Year’s Eve party. Dance to live music, enjoy a wide variety of appetizers, and drink your favorite beer at Architectural Artifacts, an 80,000 square foot “antique shop.” Wine and signature cocktails will also be available for non-beer drinkers. There is no VIP ticket option for this party.
Lakefront New Year's Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise
Ring in the New Year on Lake Michigan as the Odyssey sets sail for a night on the water. A DJ will perform after the meal and into the New Year when you will have one of the best views in the city of the fireworks display. Tickets include a plated multiple course meal and an open top-shelf bar.
