Ring in the New Year with thousands of other revellers at Grand Park. The park hosts L.A’s closest to a communal countdown.The event will feature live DJs, photogenic installations, food trucks, and a midnight countdown that is projected onto City Hall. It is an alcohol-free family event and the admission is free.
Prohibition is a 1920’s themed NYE party, located in Downtown LA’s Art Deco, Marvel Union Station. The even features live DJ sets, Jazz, burlesque dancers, a premium open bar, cocktails and champagne. Roaring twenties attire is encouraged encouraged, but formal attire is the standard at this event. At the stroke of midnight a 60 foot ball is dropped. Ticket packages vary from ‘early bird’ to “VIP’.
Minimal Effort is a large concert, NYE style. The event brings talented house and techno artists to the table. It’s a large concert venue, with a variety of ticket packages from ‘early bird’ to ‘VIP Open Bar’.
New Year’s Eve aboard the Queen Mary
Ring in NYE aboard the Queen Mary. The event is a 21 and over party that offers food, drink, dancing and live music with a club-like atmosphere. At midnight event goers can see a fireworks display over the water. General admission includes all entertainment and party favors, but food and drink isn’t included. VIP access grants access to VIP decks as well as two complimentary cocktails.
EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood
The theme park, Universal Studios Hollywood, hosts their annual NYE party. The event offers music, dancing and countdown to midnight with fireworks. The party has three live entertainment areas with an assortment of desserts, beer, wine and champagne. Their ‘Ultimate EVE Ticket’ provides park goers with access to exclusive lounge areas, gourmet buffet dinner and private cash bars with specialty drinks. It also features complimentary champagne for the toast and themed party favors, as well as Unlimited access to rides and shows, and not to mention valet parking.
