Many ticket packages are offered, usually ranging from $100 to $200.
Hard Rock Hotel
The Hard Rock Hotel puts on a New Year's Eve party in San Diego every year. The event has seven party rooms on three levels of the hotel with many DJs keeping the party goers dancing into the night. 25 different bars will be letting the champagne flow at midnight. Tickets are typically $80, and packages usually start at $429, which includes a one night stay and two party tickets. This is a 21+ event.
OMFG NYE has been throwing a New Year's Eve party in San Diego since 2010. The line up of artists attending has been nothing but impressive, with artists such as Zedd and Tiesto performing. It's a two-night event where guests dance to live sets by their favorite DJs. Tickets usually range from $100 to $255.
Black & Gold New Year's Eve
If you prefer a formal NYE party in San Diego, the Maritime Museum is a place to celebrate in style. Located directly on the San Diego Bay, guests can experience an exciting night in what is considered to be one of the most unique venues in the city. The historic 1898 Steam Ferry Berkeley transforms into a classy lounge, providing live music, dancing, party favors, appetizers and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are typically $60 for single adults, and private booths for up to 8 people are usually $500. The attire is cocktail.
NYE Beach Party
Catamaran Resort throws an all-inclusive NYE party with unlimited drinks and cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, four rooms of DJ'd entertainment, themed photo booths, and an LED screen midnight countdown with a balloon drop. Guests can upgrade to the VIP Party Boat and cruise around Mission Ban on the William D Evans. There you'll also find multiple decks of music, open bars, a dance floor and casino games. Tickets usually range from $100 to $200. Group discounts are available for parties of 10 or more.
